"Pizza Perfection: Battle Creek's Pizza Rescue Turns Heads with Five-Star Reviews"

If you’ve lived in Battle Creek for a while, chances are you’ve already heard great things about Pizza Rescue, and now I know why!

I’ve known the folks who run Pizza Rescue for years, but until recently, I hadn’t had a chance to stop in and give their pizza a try.

As part of my mission to explore more of the great local restaurants around Battle Creek, we decided it was finally time.

I first tried to order online, but the site didn’t seem to let me select the round deep dish pizza, so I went old-school and picked up the phone.

I’m glad I did! The lady who answered was incredibly friendly and helpful, and she took my order with a smile you could hear through the phone.

She told me it would be about 20 minutes, and sure enough, when I arrived, my pizza was just coming out of the oven, piping hot and smelling amazing.

My wife went with the Deep Dish Round Meat Lovers, and she loved it. The crust was perfectly golden brown, flavorful, and loaded high with meat toppings.

I ordered the Detroit-Style Square Supreme, with a twist!

Instead of sauce on top, I had mine baked with sauce under the cheese and swapped the green peppers for jalapeños.

Having spent years in the pizza business myself, I know a great pizza when I see one, and this one was beautiful! It had toppings all the way to the edge, colorful, perfectly baked, and absolutely delicious once we got it home.

We also tried the Garlic Cheese Bombs, and let me tell you… they lived up to the name. They ewre warm, soft, and packed with gooey cheese.

Between the quality of the food, the friendly service, and their generous heart for the community, I’m proud to say Pizza Rescue lives up to all the hype.

They donate 5% of their profits each month to local animal rescue organizations, which is something we love to see over at the Cereal City Animal Alliance
