Battle Creek was more than ready for the new Jack in the Box 2588 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek as traffic stretched two streets deep and customers parked blocks away just to get inside on opening day.

We stopped by to check it out ourselves and came away impressed.

The staff was friendly across the board, with Melvin at the front door helping manage the packed crowd and keeping things moving smoothly.

He was very friendy as was all the staff we interacted with.

As for the food?

It delivered.

The Sourdough Jack got a big thumbs-up, while the Bacon Double Smashed Jack paired with seasoned curly fries made for a solid meal.

We also tried some of Jack’s more unique sides, the egg rolls were surprisingly tasty, and the classic tiny tacos with avocado lime dip may be one of the best values on the menu at just $4 for 13.

First impression?

Big crowds, good service, and a menu with way more variety than your average burger stop.

Battle Creek may have just found its newest hot spot.
