Jack in the Box is officially returning to Michigan with its first location in over 40 years, and it is opening right here in the Cereal City. The location near Country Inn & Suites on Capital Avenue has already seen construction activity since August 2025, with visible progress including temporary lane closures during the build-out phase.
Construction is well underway, and while earlier estimates suggested an April 2026 opening, the official company website now lists May 2026 as the target date. No specific day in May has been announced yet, but locals are eagerly watching for the grand opening announcement.
