Cereal Fest 2026 Brings Battle Creek Together for a Day of Family Fun and Community Pride
From cereal stations to camel rides, Battle Creek celebrated its sweet history under sunny skies.

Battle Creek once again embraced its title as the Cereal City last weekend as families packed downtown for another unforgettable Cereal Fest, a celebration of the city’s rich cereal-making history and the community spirit that keeps it alive.
With perfect sunny weather and a festive atmosphere from start to finish, the event brought out Thousands of residents and visitors for a day filled with fun, food, and family-friendly activities.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was the massive kids’ zone, which stayed busy from start to finish. Kirk’s Jump N Fun Rentals filled the area with giant inflatables, obstacle courses, and bounce houses that kept kids laughing and burning off energy all day long.
Nearby, Happy Faces Face Painting transformed little festival-goers, while a train ride gave children and families another fun way to explore the event.
Adding to the excitement, Tony the Tiger made a special appearance, posing for pictures and creating memorable moments for kids and parents alike.
A crowd favorite was the festival’s unique cereal feeding stations, where guests could choose their favorite cereal and walk down the line to have milk poured in...bringing Battle Creek’s breakfast legacy to life in the most hands-on way possible.
Free Pop-Tarts and orange juice were also handed out as part of the celebration, giving everyone a taste of the city’s iconic food history.
One of the most eye-catching displays came from Tiger Towing, which suspended a giant American flag high above the festival using one of its massive tow trucks, creating a patriotic centerpiece visible from blocks away.
Live music from a rockin’ local band kept the energy high throughout the day, while families also enjoyed a petting zoo featuring a variety of animals, including a camel, which quickly became one of the festival’s most talked-about attractions.
Beyond the attractions, Cereal Fest served as a reminder of what makes Battle Creek special.
It’s not just the history of cereal giants Kellogg and that built the city...it’s the people who continue to come together, celebrate, volunteer, and create memories.
