Gull Lake Distilling Company Opens New Restaurant in Downtown Battle Creek

Downtown Battle Creek just got a little more flavorful!

 

Gull Lake Distilling Company, the family-owned craft brewery, distillery, and winery based in Galesburg, has officially opened its second location at 80 W. Michigan Avenue in the heart of downtown.

 

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on October 14, 2025, and marked an exciting new chapter for Battle Creek’s growing restaurant and nightlife scene.

 

Known for their dedication to locally-sourced ingredients and small-batch craft beverages, Gull Lake Distilling Company brings a welcoming, down-to-earth vibe that perfectly fits Battle Creek’s community spirit.

 

Guests can now enjoy freshly brewed beers, handcrafted spirits, and local wines, all made with care and creativity.

 

The new Battle Creek location also features a full kitchen, serving a rotating menu of pub favorites, sharables, and chef-inspired specials designed to complement the drink list.

 

The restaurant’s relaxed indoor setting and spacious outdoor seating area invite locals and visitors alike to sit back, sip, and savor.

 

With hours running from 11 AM to 10 PM Monday through Thursday, 11 AM to 11 PM Friday and Saturday, and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sunday, there’s plenty of time to drop by, whether you’re grabbing lunch downtown, meeting friends after work, or winding down your weekend.
