A Tasty Takeover at North & Morgan In Battle Creek: Kick N Kurbz Delivers the Goods
Massive Portions, Signature Heat, and the Secret ‘Porkito’ You Didn't Know You Needed

If you’ve been driving past the corner of North Avenue and Morgan Road lately, you might have noticed a new spark of energy at the old car dealership.
While I was visiting with Chad at the brand-new Beast Racing location, I stumbled upon a culinary powerhouse parked right in the lot: Kick N Kurbz.
I originally planned to give them a quick shout-out in the shop’s feature, but after one bite of their food, I knew they earned a full write-up of their own.
Portions as Big as the Flavor
The first thing you need to know about Kick N Kurbz is that you will not leave hungry. The portions are absolutely massive, offering incredible value for your money.
I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with "the works", shaved steak, melted cheese, and a mountain of mushrooms and peppers.
It was served alongside a generous pile of seasoned fries that had a fantastic, savory kick to them.
The cheesesteak itself was spectacular; the bread held up perfectly to the juicy filling, and the blend of peppers provided just the right amount of heat.
I also couldn't resist trying the Pork Cheese Fries.
They topped a bed of those great fries with their signature pulled pork and a healthy dose of jalapeños.
Let me tell you: their pork is top-tier. It’s tender, smoky, and seasoned to perfection.
The "Porkito" Surprise
The service was just as impressive as the kitchen.
The ladies running the truck are fantastic, friendly, fast, and clearly passionate about what they do.
They even slipped in an extra treat for me to try: the Porkito.
Imagine pulled pork and cream cheese wrapped in a egg roll wrap, tucked with a few jalapeños for "zip," and deep-fried to a golden crunch.
Served with a side of BBQ sauce for dipping, it is the ultimate snack.
If you see them out and about and aren't quite ready for a full meal, you absolutely have to grab a couple of these.
A New Destination for Foodies?
It’s exciting to see this corner being revitalized.
With Beast Racing bringing new life to the space, the addition of high-quality food like Kick N Kurbz makes it a true destination.
Keep your eyes peeled as the weather warms up; word is we might see more food trucks making a regular appearance at this corner starting this spring.
If you’re looking for huge portions, reasonable prices, and local hospitality, don’t walk, run, to Kick N Kurbz.
