We stopped into The Fire Hub 175 S Kendall St, Battle Creek, MI Saturday afternoon, right around dinner time, to check out the newly reopened spot… and I’ve got to tell you, this place is off to a strong start.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, vibrant, and inviting.

There’s something special about this building already, and you can feel the energy of it coming back to life.

Ordering is done right at the front counter, and the woman who helped us couldn’t have been better.

She was friendly, patient, and more than willing to help as we took a few minutes to look over the menu.

We were on the fence about trying the carrot fries, and she gave us a little nudge… and I’m glad she did.

They were fantastic.

Crispy, flavorful, and a really unique twist on a classic side. Definitely something you don’t see everywhere, and absolutely worth trying.

We grabbed our drinks, found a table, and before long the carrot fries came out.

Not long after we finished those, the rest of the food followed. The timing was spot on.

The staff continued to impress throughout the visit. Food was delivered with a smile, and the same woman who took our order made her way through the dining room checking in on guests, including us, a couple of times.

That kind of attention goes a long way.

Now let’s talk about the food…

My daughter ordered the chicken Alfredo oven-fired pizza, and it was outstanding. The crust was cooked just right, with a great texture, and the bacon added a ton of flavor.

My wife went with the chicken Parmesan sandwich and gave it a big thumbs up.

I had the Italian sandwich with coleslaw, and it did not disappoint. Fresh, toasted bread and packed with flavor.

Everything we tried was well done, fresh, and clearly made with care.

All in all, it’s clear they’re doing a great job bringing this place back.

Seeing The Fire Hub come back to life inside this historic building feels like a win for Battle Creek.

🔥 Final Thoughts

This is exactly the kind of local spot we want to see succeed.

They’re just getting going again, and now is the perfect time to stop in, show some support, and be part of the comeback.

👉 If you’ve been waiting to check it out… don’t wait.

Get over to The Fire Hub and see what they’re building.
